The platformKaryalo

Five stages of a contract, one system.

Contract lifecycle management, from drafting through review and signature to the obligations afterwards.

Drafting, review against your own positions, sending it out, taking signatures, and the obligations that outlive all of it. Everything on this page is built and running today, for law firms, in-house legal teams and the business teams who raise agreements. Where something is deliberately not built, it says so.

№ 01Draft

Start from work you have already done.

Most drafting time goes on rebuilding an agreement your side has written twenty times before. Karyalo keeps that knowledge in the product, and every new draft starts from it.

Drafting workflows

A recipe in plain English: which sections, in what order, on what commercial terms. Written once per agreement type, and reused on every draft after that. No prompt engineering, no template syntax.

Your past agreements as the source

Attach signed contracts to a workflow and the draft reuses your real defined terms and commercial positions, not a generic default. If nobody wants to write the recipe, upload a few past contracts and Karyalo will draft it for you.

Clause library

Wording that has been approved, each clause with the fallback you expect to land on after negotiation. Insert either at the cursor, and every AI draft reaches for it first.

Three ways to write

Outline a whole agreement, draft one section at the cursor without touching the rest, or work through the document in a chat panel beside it. Everything is previewed before it lands.

№ 02Review

Your positions, applied clause by clause.

A playbook is your negotiating position written down once: the wording you ask for, the fallback you will accept, and the line you will not cross. Karyalo grades a contract against it and hands back findings you can act on.

Green, amber, red

Green matches your standard. Amber is inside the fallback range somebody senior already agreed to. Red is past the line, or a protection that should be there and is not. Set positions per agreement type and per side, because what you accept as the buyer is not what you accept as the seller.

Every finding quotes the clause

Click a finding and the editor jumps to that exact passage and highlights it. You are never handed a claim about clause 14.3 that you then have to go and verify yourself.

The redline goes in where it belongs

Accept a suggestion and it replaces the offending text in place. Where a required protection is missing altogether, it is inserted rather than described.

Overruling it is on the record

Dismiss a finding and the decision is written to the contract's history, so months later there is a record of who accepted which risk.

№ 03Share

Out to the other side, and back again.

The stretch between a finished draft and an agreed one is where the days disappear. Karyalo runs it on a link rather than an email thread, so the state of every review is visible without asking anyone.

No account at their end

The client, the counterparty or their counsel opens one link and responds. Give them comment rights, or let them redline and send a version straight back into your history.

You can see where it stands

Whether it has been read, what was said, and what was decided. Approve, request changes or decline, each with a note, and all of it on one timeline.

Links you control

Every share carries an expiry and can be revoked outright, which matters when a deal changes shape or falls through.

Reviewers get chased automatically

Anyone who goes quiet is reminded for you. Nobody on your side has to keep a follow-up list.

№ 04Sign

Signed here, with the evidence attached.

Electronic signature built into the product that drafted the document. Nothing is exported to a separate signing tool and re-uploaded afterwards.

Signing order

Set the sequence. A countersignature cannot arrive before the signature it follows.

Bound to the version signed

Each signature stores a cryptographic hash of the exact text in front of the signer, along with their name, method, time and IP address. An edit made afterwards cannot change what was agreed.

Certificate of completion

The executed PDF carries a page listing every signer and the evidence behind each signature.

Delivered to everyone

On the last signature the contract moves to Executed and the signed PDF reaches every party, then stays available from the contract itself.

Worth being precise about
  • This is an electronic signature with a full audit trail, which is what the overwhelming majority of commercial contracts use.
  • It is not a certified or qualified digital signature. Where a matter requires one, we will tell you on the demo rather than let you find out later.
№ 05After

The obligations survive the signature.

An executed contract is a set of promises with dates attached. Karyalo pulls them out of the text and keeps them in front of the person responsible.

Obligations, extracted and reviewed

The assistant reads the contract and proposes what is owed, by whom, by when, and what happens if it is missed. Each one is accepted, edited or thrown out by a person. Nothing is saved until somebody agrees to it.

Renewals and expiry

Set the notice date once and the reminder arrives while there is still time to act. A contract past its expiry date moves to Expired on its own, with the change recorded.

One timeline per contract

Created, shared, opened, approved, declined, revoked, redlined, signed, executed. Every event with a name and a time, in order, on one page.

Versions you can trust

Full version history with the source and author of each one. A version already sent for review or signature cannot be deleted, because deleting it would take that history with it.

№ 06Access

Who gets in, and what they can touch.

Start free, invite your team

Sign up, confirm your email, and your workspace is ready with you as its administrator. Colleagues join by invitation from inside your organisation, within your seat count. Reviewers, counterparties and signers need no account at all.

Three roles

Administrator, Partner and Member. Drafting, review, playbooks, clause libraries and sharing sit with administrators and partners. Members read contracts and comment on them. In a company the same three roles map onto legal ownership, approvers, and the business teams who raise agreements.

Nothing crosses between customers

Every request is scoped to the workspace and the role of the person making it, when it arrives and again in the logic that answers it. Your contracts, clauses, playbooks and files are reachable only from inside your own workspace.

Thirty minutes. We build a drafting recipe from it, run your positions against a live contract, and send it for signature while you watch.
